From the 8th to the 10th of August, we carried out a location test for "Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX (provisional title)"!!

Thanks to all the fans who kindly played the game and answered our questionnaire at the location test, we got loads of really useful information.
And as soon as we announced the location test on the official Wangan website, we received many, many enthusiastic opinions and requests in our opinions box. Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm! We really appreciate it!

All the project members were watching closely when you guys were playing, and we got valuable hints about how to set the difficulty levels and specifications.
We are carefully going through each and every one of your opinions, requests and questionnaires. Your opinions and requests are really valuable to us when we are developing new products, so please, please keep sending them in to the opinions box!

In Nagamatsu's future lab news report last week there was an introduction to the additional elements in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX (provisional title).

Of all the additional elements, the one I particularly like is the new course called "Nagoya Speed Ring".
The distance round each lap is shorter than for Osaka, and it's pretty good for beginner players because the course keeps going round and round the same area, so its easy to get a picture of the whole course, making the strategy for each corner a bit simpler. If you want a fun battle without using your card, then this is the course for you.
But!!! If you think this is a mere beginner-friendly oval course, then you are very much mistaken!
Precisely because the course layout has been honed down so finely, this course is a real challenge at the same time as being fun.
This course has crank shaped corners the like of which you have never seen before, sudden snaking areas in the middle of straights, steep banked corners, jump spots...if you try and master all the corners you'll find that the course has real depth and is quite challenging.
The course is great for time attack, and advanced players can look forward to some closely fought battles?
