Air Run Area

This new type of blow-up obstacle course can be safely enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Air Run was first added at Tondemi Heiwajima and is a very popular activity that lets parents, children and friends casually compete against each other.

The new Air Run at Tondemi Yokosuka is a "reversed” version that further ups the excitement of competition. Players must run and touch the button at the end of the course and then loop back. The turnaround adds an element of strategy with players’ posture and speed during their U-turn.
The turnaround also allows players to enjoy the same course twice as much by having different obstacles on the way there and back. Families and groups can have fun racing against the clock.
Blow-up obstacles are set up along this 54-meter-long course and runners must reach the goal by climbing, passing through, jumping over, and knocking down the obstacles.

Che Kule Ball Toss

This interactive activity uses the popular “Che Kule Ball Toss” game from elementary school sports festivals.
Players dance to the famous song "Che Che Kule Che Kofi Sa" and toss balls into a basket during the song’s the interludes. Two players compete to see who can get the most balls in.

● About the Che Kule Ball Toss(*One theory by Bandai Namco Amusement)
Che Kule Ball Toss is a unique Japanese “evolved ball toss” that is gaining popularity nationwide on sports day. The sight of children dancing to the lively song "Che Che Kule" and throwing balls into a basket is very endearing, making it a popular activity for children and parents alike. There are various theories about its origin.
The song "Che Che Kule" used in the "Che Kule Ball Toss" is a children's song that is considered an African folk song from Ghana.
Originally a classic Girl Scout song, it is said to have been brought to Japan by Girl Scout camp participants in the 1950s and 1960s. Around 2000, it became a hot topic as it was featured in beverage commercials and on popular TV shows.
It started being used as BGM for ball-throwing competitions on school sports days around 2000, with Fukuoka and Saitama prefectures developing the trend in particular.
The version of "Che Che Kule" used in this activity is the original audio by Kumiko Osugi and is used with permission.

Ball-Rolling Race

The Ball-Rolling Race is an interactive game where players become the path for a large “Oodama” ball to roll across to get to the goal.
Players create their own "human blocks" by photographing themselves in any poses they like within a set time limit. When the time is up for making “blocks,” the Oodama will roll down the path. It’s game over if the Oodama fails to reach the finish line. This activity can be played alone or in multiplayer mode.

At the end of the sixth stage, an exciting slide provides a sense of exhilaration upon clearing the stage.

The ocean-facing side of the trampoline area is a glass-enclosed atrium, giving players a great view of Yokosuka Port.

Climbing Wall Area

A climbing wall area enjoyable for both adults and children alike. With a wall height of 6m and 11 courses with 8 difficulty levels, even children can have fun climbing.
Participants wear a rope with a speed reducer, for a fun and safe experience.
The “Clip'n Climb” climbing wall is the first of its kind in Japan, and includes popular and unique activities such as a two-person race, a stair climb with no clues, a giant slide with a vertical drop from a height of 6m, and "Ascendor," a wall with plenty of clues for even small children to find their way to and from the top.
We also have an original wall for children to naturally improve their climbing skills. The route was designed under the supervision of an IFSC-certified *international route setter, which is someone who determines the placement of holds in international climbing competitions.

The ocean-facing side of the climbing wall area is also a glass-enclosed atrium, giving climbers who reach the top of the wall a great view of Yokosuka Bay.

Slackline Area

To level up visitors’ fun on TONDEMI’s popular rope course, we have further improved the activity so that you can participate without needing a safety harness.
Even children can move unimpeded and enjoy the thrill of climbing up high.
This is the "evolved form" of the rope course specially developed for Tondemi Yokosuka.

The slackline area offers 14 different activities with varying degrees of difficulty, and visitors must clear obstacles on a 4.6-meter-high, 70-meter-long net in order to move forward and clear the course. There is also a net trampoline made of a 4.5-square meter net, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of heights to their heart's content.
Visitors can gaze down onto the trampoline area below from the top of the course, and if they go to the full-glass atrium side, they can enjoy a panoramic view of the Yokosuka harbor. This course is enclosed by a net around the entire perimeter, making it a safe and fun challenge without the need for a harness.
With no harness needed, visitors can move around completely unimpeded.

At night, it lights up in a potpourri of color. Experience an entirely different side of the slackline during the lighting production.
