Game mode (Story Mode)
  • Story Mode is the main mode of this game. The characters in the original comic appear as your rivals. Your mission in this game is to race against these characters and defeat them.
  • In Story Mode, you first choose your rival's level, then select an opponent out of the rivals that are of the level you selected. You can change levels and rivals freely within the time limit.
  • You win if you pass the finishing line before your rivals (characters in the original comic), and you lose if your rivals pass it before you. The game finishes if the remaining time becomes zero.
  • You have to fight against only one rival or multiple rivals, depending upon the story.

Story Mode moves on as follows:

Episode 1 - 10: The Return of Devil Z

This is based on the story written in Wangan Midnight comics, volumes 1 to 3.
The story of how "Akio", "Reina" and "Black Bird" got to know each other and where Devil Z came from is told. The long-awaited "Ishida" appears in these episodes, although he only sits on the passenger seat.
Episode 11 - 15: Perfect GT-R

This is based on the story written in Wangan Midnight comics, volumes 3 to 5.
You can enjoy a super high speed Wangan line battle with Hiramoto and Harada.
Episode 16 - 20: Akasaka Straight

This is based on the story written in Wangan Midnight comics, volumes 5 to 8.
Battle with ex-metropolitan highway runner "Masaki". Can you reach 300km/h on the tricky C1 inbound course.
Episode 21 -30: Monster machine

This is based on the story written in Wangan Midnight comics, volumes 8 to 13.
You should also focus on the driving and stories about driving of elder tuners who are crazy about "Keiichiro Aizawa's" Supra.
Episode 31 - 40: R200CLUB

Battle with the members of "R200CLUB" and experience "Kuroki's" passion for 33R.
Episode 41 - 50: Hanshin high speed circular line

This is based on the story written in Wangan Midnight comics, volumes 16 to 20.
You can enjoy the battle between Lancer Evolution and "Eiji Kamiya", a racer from Osaka. Don't miss the long-awaited battle from the Wangan Maxi series in the Hanshin Expressway loop line.
Episode 51 - 60: Legendary FC

This is based on the story written in Wangan Midnight comics, volumes 20 to 24.
You can enjoy battling with "Kijima". He is very particular about the FC3S type RX-7, a car of the old generation.
Episode 61-70: Garage ACE

This is based on the story written in Wangan Midnight comics, volumes 24 to 29.
You can enjoy the battle between the ACE demo car R32GT-R, made by "Tomoya", and "Akio".
Episode 71 - 80: Legendary F1 Turbine
