DAIGO“The Winners Machine”



Hello everybody, this is the Designer, DAIGO!
I am finally starting to get used to the cold here (it’s still very cold). I have started turning off my heater in my home for the environment! (or more importantly, my wallet.)

Well, the a little while back, on Feb. 19th, we held the “Wangan Midnight Maximum TUNE 3DX Plus World Championship 2011” at the 2011 AOU show here in Japan!
The tournament was filled with excitement, as everyone battled for the title of the FIRST World Champion!
During the races, everyone was very tense and concentrating hard, but after the race was over the participants would compliment each other and congratulate each other on their races. It was so moving to see everyone become so close to one another through our game.
The first World Champion was decided, and Wong Tsz Fung, a representative from Hong Kong won the title!  Congratulations!

… so I started to think to myself… I wonder what kind of car the World Champion uses? Well, today I’m going to show you that car!

He uses the Lancer Evolution 9.
Aero is “Normal” and the spoiler is “GT Straight”. The Bonnet is “FRP”, Sticker is “Tribal”, Side Mirrors are “Normal”, Wheels are “Rays X401”. While on paper it sounds like a normal car, the body’s red color with the Stickers being white, this car has quite a visual impact to it.
Also, the Spoiler and wheels match the rest of the body very well, and the overall balance of the car is good. It isn’t too heavy looking, but rather it looks very light. It looks like a car hiding some high specs under the hood, and I feel like this design has the fine tuned tastes of a winner.
