No. 652010.3.17
Hi there. It’s Tetsuo.
Last weekend, the AOU 2010 Amusement Expo was held in Makuhari Messe.
Thank you very much for all the players who lined up and enjoyed the PLUS in our 3DX PLUS playable exhibit.
We provided full-tuned cards specific to the Expo, and the players experienced two new and classic monsters added in the new series; aloof “R35 GT-R” and the legendary classic car “Hakosuka.”
* Hakosuka that I couldn’t show you last time. Too cool but elegant...
There were players who were absorbed in the game, who drove like they were checking a new machine’s performance and who rode so hard with their friends. All the players had fun in their own way, and there was a long line at the play booth all the time.
Also, the event for Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX PLUS was held in a special stage of Namco Bandai Games.
Cars, new dress-up parts, and the new course “Fukuoka Urban Expressway” were introduced there. Moreover, the VS Player Mode races by the players were commented on play-by-play. Although the course and the cars appeared for the first time, the performance levels were so high that I almost mistook those battles as a tournament…
Also, Producer Maeda commented play-by-play on the battle between the fellow emcee and three staff members led by Director Uchida.
Ignore the comment, “Sense the atmosphere!” by ★Maeda★,
Those three who were driving seriously…
Those three who were stepping on his car a lot…
Those three who left out the fellow emcee…
I’ll name them as New R200 Club. If you see them in any game arcades, watch out!
This issue is the last of Tetsuo’s turn for 3DX Future Lab News. Finally the day we can deliver Maxi 3DX PLUS is coming soon. Can’t wait!
…Ugh, Oh No…I forgot about that. I should practice the Fukuoka course before its release (←having a tight-fisted and fruit-less struggle)
See you around!
