How to Play Is Up to You?

Hi folks, it's Nagamatsu, the mysterious man in the judo suit. Hai-yaa!!

Recently, I've been a detective who is quick to adapt to changing circumstances (or if you will, flatter his senior a lot) among the "three useless detectives" who are also very well known in this Future Lab News. Can they find the criminal!!

Anyways, let's just finish going along with the joke around here. I think I did my share.

Recently, Nagamatsu has been watching races of various players in amusement facilities. I've seen players who just started, who have many full-tuned cards, and who play with the Present Cards from their friends. I'm just so happy to see so many players having fun. But then, lately I've noticed something…

Players who somehow continue to play only in Story Mode...
Players who continue to play in VS Player Mode and have heated battles…
Players who put all their efforts to dress-ups in Ghost Versus Battle Mode…
And so on and so forth, I've noticed there are many ways of playing.

As you already know, Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX has the following five game modes:

* Story Mode
* Ghost Versus Battle Mode
* 10 Outrun Mode
* Time Attack Mode
* VS Player Mode

But I guess, around the timing when their own cars get fully tuned, they start to think of various ways of playing and drive in their own original ways!!







Among the players who continue to play only in Story Mode, I saw a player going through "Episode 2xxx" already.

Also among them, I saw a player who was solely trying to increase the "Number of consecutive victories" in Story Mode.
(Unfortunately, the player lost having almost reached their 30th consecutive victory…but then the player went back to start the Story Mode again.)

In VS Player Mode, I saw a player who already had tons of "outrun stars" on the game screen.

Of course, in Ghost Versus Battle Mode, I saw many players whose "Dress-up LV" reached three digits.

I also saw a player whom I thought, "Gosh, he has a lot of cards." Then, it turned out that he had tuning the cards of one manufacturer, and so on…


I really thought there were so many ways of playing …more than I expected.
Nagamatsu wants to reach the level to create "his own original way of playing."
(Of course, it's a different issue whether my skill can reach the level of my original way of playing!!)

If you have "your own original way of playing" to share, like "I play like this!!" or "We play like this together!!" please let us know.

Taking this as a good opportunity, Nagamatsu is thinking to create a car specific for VS Player Mode or a car specific for Time Attack, in addition to his "supreme car."


In closing, the details of the "2009 Japan Championship" held in the 47th Amusement Machine Show on September 19 (Sat) 2009 will be discussed in the next issue.
