nagamatsuArea Qualifying Tournament Finally Started!!

Hi folks, it's Nagamatsu, the mysterious man in the judo suit. Hai-yaa!!

Currently, the "2009 JAPAN CHAMPIONSHIP" is being held and is being highly praised!!
Finally, the arcade qualifying tournaments were finished, and arcade representatives were selected.
And from August 8th, 2009, the "Area Qualifying Tournament", otherwise known as stage 2, will start.

I bet the players who unfortunately lost their battles and couldn't become representatives were all quite high-level runners.
If you have a chance, please visit the area qualifying tournaments or the final.
An opponent against whom you fought could be in the final...
Then, if that opponent wins the championship, you could relish a feeling like, "After all, that race was the actual final..."

And, players who are now arcade representatives...no, no, "Wangan Runners"!!
I look forward to seeing your hot driving and heated battles.

Every time, at a tournament, I'm always stunned by players, like, even a race is VS a player...,
"Wh, Why, how can you continue that stable driving..."(sweat)
Right up to the corner, they are neck and neck and getting in and out of the line, but at the moment they are at the corner, they change their running lines to go around the corner!!
Then, again, dodging other cars, they get into battle to run the best line!!

When the race reaches its final phase, just one mistake immediately becomes a fatal mistake... During the heated battle, keep your presence of mind and run to the end...

Awesome!! You guys are all TOO COOL!! Nagamatsu usually buckles under the pressure and makes a sloppy mistake when a race reaches its final phase...then, tragically ends up in last place...
I've been repeating this kind of race again and again.








I bet we can see true runs even in the area qualifying tournaments and in the final, different from Nagamatsu's 'imitated-atmosphere-group' driving technique.
Nagamatsu's already looking forward to the qualifying tournaments. What kind of players will get through the tournaments?
What kind of car models will the players use?? How will the players dress up their cars??
What kind of courses will they run and in what settings??



Gosh, there are too many to see. Just to imagine, I'm already excited.
I caaan't wait!
