*The following information regarding the national championship will be for the event to be held in Japan.

Hi there, it's Maeda.
How was Golden Week? I guess many of you must've left on trips taking advantage of the government reducing the toll fees on the expressways to only 1,000 yen.
I heard that the guy who keeps saying, "Hai-yaa, Hai-yaa!" will be driving on the Metropolitan Expressway at night with his beloved "Mazda RX-7(FD3S)." So if you encounter him, please speak to him at your own risk...But I assume he will only answer you with "Hai-yaa, Hai-yaa!"

"I'm Nagamatsu!
Hai-yaa! Hai-yaa!!"

Anyway, aside from this,
the National championship will finally be held.
It will be the first official national championship in the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune series!!
For those who couldn't participate before because the tournament show sites were all far from your house, you can now participate at your nearest arcade that's holding the qualifying tournament!
We are currently devoting ourselves to manufacturing original prizes for this championship! If you get an original prize, I'm sure it will be one of your most valued items.
Please stay tuned to our official home page because the rules and details will be announced there!

I'm sure the toughest players in each area will gather to do battle. So even if you're confident of your skills, I suggest you should start to practice by aiming to qualify for the championship!, no, aiming for victory!
