Q2	Can I play the game without buying a tuning card?

You can play the game without this card. However, you can't play the following game modes without a tuning card.

Q3	Where can I buy a tuning card?

You can buy tuning cards from the Wangan Maxi 3DX game machines. Start the game and select "No" in "Do you have a card" screen. The "Do you want to purchase a card?" screen will appear. You can buy a card by following the instructions on the screen.
It is also possible to buy a card after the game.
If you play Story mode without buying a card, the "Do you want to purchase a card" screen appears again after the game. If you buy it, you can get a card reflecting your previous game.

Q4	What do the letters on the card mean?

The letters shown below are printed on the card.
The letters change depending upon your results in the game.

Name	The name you entered (up to 5 characters) is printed.
3DX	This shows that your card is a Wangan Maxi 3DX tuning card.
Card Number	Cards are printed with a card number in the order that they are issued. In Ghost Versus Battle Mode, you can search for and select opponents using this number.
Car Type	The type of car you is printed.
Title	In the left half of the box, the level indicating the progress of the game is printed. In the right half, a title (up to 9 characters) indicating the characteristics of the player is printed.
Horsepower	The index of HP and Handling reflecting the tuning status is printed.
Clear	This shows how many episodes of Story mode you have completed. If you have not been defeated, the printed marks are shown in white, but if you have lost, even once, they are shown in black.
Mileage	The total mileage is printed.
Password	A password for the Internet ranking of Time attack and Mileage (up to 26 characters) is printed. The uppercase letters are the password for Time attack, and the lowercase letters are the Mileage password. The password to be printed can be set in the card data confirmation screen (9/9).

Q5	I want to change the "Name" entered for the card.

You cannot change the "Name" entered for the card.

Q6	I want to change the "Car type" registered in the card.

You cannot change the "Car type" registered in the card.

Q7	I want to change the "Body color" registered in the card.

You get a new body color every time you renew the card. You can change then body color to any color you have at this time.

Q8	How many times can I use the tuning card?

You can use play the game 60 times with the same tuning card. This is because this card is magnetic and using the same card too many times makes it impossible to record the data correctly due to card deterioration.

Q9	If I play the game 60 times, can't I play it anymore?

If you play 60 times, you can transfer the data to a new card by "Renewing the card" and continuing to play the game.

Q10	I "Renewed the card", then "You got a new body color" message was displayed.

You can change your car's body color when you renew your card. And body color is added one by one every time you renew your card. The body color given there is different from the one you selected when creating a card. It is an original color.
The color does not affect your car's capability. Focus on your car's appearance and select colors.

Q11	I renewed my card and I found the message "Present Card" printed on the previous card.

A Present Card is a card that allows somebody to play five times with the same Story Mode progress, Power/Handling Tuning, and Dress-up status that you had on your old card.
