It's cool lately, but it was really hot this summer, wasn't it?
On August 5th, one of those hot days, we held an event at Namco Land Asagaya branch, called "Future Lab News Special Program@Asagaya"
"Future Lab News Special Program" ----- Yes, as its name indicates, it was a very special event: "
Maeda" and "Takenaka", whom I believe you know well from the official website, had a talk show there and furthermore, the participants had several chances to get great goods in a prize draw.
First, I want to show you the pictures taken at the event to show you what it was like!

Namco Land Asagaya branch is located at the North exit of Asagaya Station.This day was very hot as usual.
The heat seems to have taken away all your energy.
No, No, we are absolutely fine!!
Since an event for recording ghosts was held in the morning, there were many people at the arcade. The ghosts recorded there might be registered in Wangan 3 in your town.
Just before the event began, there were more than 30 people around the cabinet.
The heat coming off the attendants was so great that the air conditioner was almost useless!
The time came to start the event!It began with with
Maeda and Takenaka introducing themselves.The host of the event was the manager of Namco Land Asagaya branch, Mr. Abe.
Racing with the developers
Maeda and Takenaka each made up a team with 3 customers and the group of four played VS mode.There were also some girls, and everybody was really good!
It looked like the default player Maeda had no chance of winning.
"Takenaka", who programmed the cars' movements, also had a tough game against powerful players.
Then it was time to ride on the well loved machine "Red MR-2"!

The two kept on playing the game for almost 1 hour and it got them really tired.Thank you, lol
Racing to decide who is the fastest in Asagaya
32 people took part in the racing. Each 2 fought against one another in the tournament, and the remaining 4 advanced to the final.The course was Osaka. No other choice. Everybody tried so hard to be the fastest.
There were tough battles going on everywhere.
The Manager played a very important role as an MC to bring excitement to the racing.
In the final, Maeda and "Takenaga" gave a special commentary.
During this heated battle, all the people around kept on cheering....
Out of the S30Z, Evolution 9MR, FC3S, and 80 Supra, the fastest was "Tetsu"-san in his FC3S.
The capability of his machine was relatively low, but he won against the odds!
Congratulations!!

Talk Show
The themes covered various topics, including the reason for selecting the additional machines, Date Title, and the developers' favorite vehicles.Prize draw for special goods.
Finally, the drawing of special goods arrived.The presenter was Matsunaga, who writes regularly for "New Monthly Maxi 2.

The greatest gift was an advertising display for Wangan Maxi 1!It's much more expensive and rarer than the production model display made in the early stages of Wangan Maxi 1.
