I: FAQ about Dress-up tuning
Q1 My car was dressed up in Ghost Battle mode. What is "Dress-up"?
In Wangan Maxi 3, you can change (customize) your car's appearance. We call it "Dress-up".
Q2 How can I dress up my car?
In Ghost Battle mode, you can get dress-up points corresponding to your battle record. If you have enough dress-up points, one dress-up part is given to you to dress up your car. You cannot get dress-up points anywhere other than Ghost Battle mode.
Q3 How can I accumulate dress-up points?
You can get dress-up points if you win the ghost in Ghost Battle mode (even if you lose, some points are given).
Q4 How can I accumulate dress-up points easily?
How many dress-up points you can get depends on the level of opponents.
When we set the opponent with the same level as you to 1...

*Re-Match = Race with the opponent in "Select a player who has defeated you." In this case, the level of the opponent does not affect.
Q5 What is the Dress-up level I see at dress-up tuning.
The dress-up level indicates the status of dress-up tuning in an integrated fashion. Because you can customize the appearance of your car as you like, you can also keep the initial appearance. So, you cannot check the status of dress-up tuning by checking the appearance of your car. So we use an indicator called Dress-up level for you to check the status of dress-up tuning. You can check the dress-up level in the card data confirmation screen.
Q6 What dress-up tunings do I have?
You have the following dress-up parts.
  • Aero parts set - - - 3 types
  • Bonnet - - - 3 types
  • Wing - - - 3 types
  • Wheel - - - 26 types (in some wheels you can select color)
  • Aero mirror - - - 1 type
  • Sticker - - - 7 types (in some stickers you can select color)
  • Neon tube - - - 3 types
Q7 How can I change the dress-up parts?
Dress-up parts can be changed only when you get new dress-up parts. And when you get dress-up parts, you can choose dress-up parts to implement from all the parts including what you got previously.
Example) When you get Aero parts set B...
You can select from "Original", "Aero parts set A" and "Aero parts set B".
Q8 The designs of wheel I can select are different from time to time.
In Wangan Maxi 3, you can select wheels from 4 real manufacturers. The wheel selection screen varies depending on manufactures, so the designs of wheel also change when the manufacture changes.
Q9 Can I change dress-up parts after I get all dress-up parts?
After you get all dress-up parts (Dress-up level 46), you can change these parts as you like. Each time your dress-up points are full, you can change one of dress-up parts. So, you can change your car's appearance according to your mood.
Q10 Do dress-up parts affect on my car's capability?
They do not affect on your car's capability. You can focus on the appearance of your car.
