F: FAQ about Story mode
Q1 I have just started to play the game. Where should I start from?
From the beginning of Story mode, your opponents get faster as you complete episodes. The difficulties have been set based on the assumption that your car is tuned to get faster. So we recommend you start from episode 1.
Q2 I cannot select episode 5.
Episode 5 of Story mode requires that you complete episode 1 - 4 before playing it.
Q3 I cannot select episode 20.
Episode 20 of Story mode requires that you complete episode 1 - 19 before playing it.
Q4 The rivals are too fast for me to win. (Episode 1 -20)
The reason for this must be any of the following:
  1. Not enough tuning
  2. Not enough practice

If you correspond to case 1, you may be challenging rivals with higher ranks too early. Race with rivals corresponding to your tunings and improve your tunings. If the case is 2, you have to practice more.

Q5 The rivals are too fast for me to win. (Episode 21 or later)
The reason for this must be any of the following:
  1. Not enough tuning
  2. Not enough practice
  3. Inappropriate settings

If the case is 1 or 2, it's the same as "The rivals are too fast for me to win (Episode 1 - 20)". If the case is 3, please try to change your car's settings to fit the driving course displayed on the right of the rival selection screen.

Q6 When I reach episode 21, I cannot select any episodes other than 21.
You have to complete episodes one by one from episode 21 ? 80 in the same way as the storyline of the original comics.
Q7 How many episodes do I have?
There are 80 episodes in total in Story mode. If you complete all 80 episodes, you will see the ending of the game and then the game starts from episode 1 again (the difficulty depends on your car's tuning status).
The completion status of story mode can be checked in the card data confirmation screen (2/9).
Q8 Does the difficulty depend on game arcades?
The difficulty of Story mode is fixed, so you can play the game with the same difficulty wherever you play it.
