After you have used a Present Card five times, it will become a Discarded Vehicle Card if you have cleared up to or over Story 20 in Story Mode. A Discarded Vehicle Card can be used to create one 600HP Card.

A 600HP Card can be made as follows.

1. Start the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX Plus game.
2. Insert the Discarded Vehicle Data Card when the ‘Do you have a card?’ screen appears.
3. You will then be asked, ‘Do you want to create a 600 HP card?’ Insert sufficient coins, and purchase a card.
4. Your Discarded Vehicle Card will be ejected in a ‘Used’ condition. Remove it from the card reader/writer.
5. A new card will be made in the machine. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter a card name.
6. You can now play the game as normal. (In Story Mode, the game starts from Episode 21.)
