Hi there. It’s Tetsuo.
In the Wangan Maxi 3DX, which has been warmed up with the finally released Z34, I tried out Nagoya TA following up Mr. Takenaka.
OK! In the top 10 in the rankings!! .....by Aristo (sobs).
I visited Hong Kong the other day. Other members have written about it several times, but Wangan Maxi is HOT in Hong Kong, no less than Japan. In a big game arcade, there were 16 Maxi machines, and people gathered around all the machines in the late evening. VS player Mode was repeated endlessly. Really endlessly.
They also played Ghost Versus Battle Mode and Story Mode. But once the waves of VS player kicked in, the atmosphere was completely changed. If you are playing in the single player mode, you’ll get pierced through with the eye-beam indicating, “Why are you not playing VS player Mode?” or more like, “SENSE the atmosphere.”!
Tetsuo couldn’t stand this sort of pressure, and he broke into the VS player Mode with his eyes wobbling from uneasiness. Tetsuo insisted on his desire of Osaka as a course. But he was the only one, and the other three players agreed on C1.
Because he came from Japan, where the game originated, he was very confident and challenged them thinking,
“I’LL TEACH THEM A LESSON.”
…But he came back to Japan after
THEY TAUGHT ME A LESSON.
Yup, really 100%, completely, they were way over my head.
I ran away when a player who lined up behind the game machine, which I was playing, placed his coins with a noticeable snap (a sign indicating a change-over at the next turn). I lose every so often, but it’s been a while since I’ve completely lost this much. Knocked out.
When I carefully looked around, maybe because VS player Mode was popular in this place, the number of Outrun Stars was astounding. In the “Accept VS challengers” screen in VS player Mode,
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆……………………
Uh? Wait. Some showy screens are up here and there.
[Falcon]
Yup, the motifs displayed based on the number of Outrun Stars when you exceed a certain number of Stars. I assume you might’ve seen this somewhere?
Those motifs are displayed based on the accumulation of battles.
The above motif is a falcon. I see this motif, which shows up first, every once in a while…
[Wasp]
Or this motif…
[Shark]
Bbbut, Th, This guy!? I was amazed to even encounter this motif!
Uh, if I write about the abyss of Wangan any further, Maeda DX will have to pull me around with S2000. So, see you around! Bye!
