No. 502010.1.13
Hi folks, it’s Nagamatsu, the mysterious man in the judo suite. Hai-yaa!!
It’s getting close to the year-end season.
Since sometimes it suddenly gets cold, you must really take care of yourselves. Otherwise, you’ll catch a cold.
Nagamatsu went to the nearby coin-operated car wash to execute a “complete car wash” after a long time. I deployed myself to do a shampoo, remove water stains, and wax.
Yes… of course, because the coming season is the time to wash cars with renewed vigor, it’s so obvious to be tough. But then, to have a completely clean and shining car, a car wash is an essential task.
I’ll do my best by thinking nothing of the cold.
Anyways, Nagamatsu’s beloved Mazda RX-7(FD3S) with a perfect look now thanks to the car wash was taken to a shop to change its oil.
The shop attendant said, “The tires need to be replaced soon…”
Yes, exactly. It’s about time to replace the tires. But Nagamatsu has his goal or ambition……
I’m thinking to increase the width of the rear tires by about 2cm.
Well then, you might think I should just change to thicker tires right away…
But to change to thicker tires, the wheels Nagamatsu is currently using need to be replaced because they aren’t matched with the tires’ size.
Moreover, with the thicker tires, if those tires are out of the fenders, the car can’t run on any public roads. Therefore, the suspension needs to be replaced (or adjusted). (For your information, because I want to lower the vehicle height, the replacement of the suspension is much more essential.)
Doing so, all sorts of things are required, and the quoting price in total will be…(sweat)
These past two months, I’ve been spending my time suffering and agonizing “I wanna do this, I wanna do that.”
I wonder if anyone from the players has some nice tuning ideas for me…
If there is anyone, please let Nagamatsu know.
Just the same, I really feel that tuning is truly based on various ideas…
Even just for a tire replacement, I decided to have a look from the wheel to the fender line and the work was traced back. Then, it’s required to replace the whole of the underbody…
In the end, when one part is improved, it’s important to “balance a car on a ‘one above’ level.”
The best tuned car is based on down-to-earth calculations!!
The car producing elegantly plain vibrations would be soooo cool!!
Nagamatsu has an image for his car like Kei’s Supra, not Kitami-tuned.
Someday, I’d like to drive around a well-balanced tuned car.
While I was thinking over and over about something like that, it may be about time to think about overhauling the engine…EEEK!!!!
OK folks, that’s all for this week!! See you! Hai-yaa!!
