Hi there Wangan Maxi fans, nice to see you all again. It's Tetsuo Takahashi DX here, Wangan design director.
It's now been just about 3 years since I joined the army-like Wangan Maxi team, and recently not only has my salute been shaping up nicely, but I've stopped screaming out loud when whipped about during one of Sergeant Maeda DX's discipline drives. Time brings progress, I guess...(said with deep feeling)
And so, to 3DX, now in operation and receiving rave reviews.
Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 Deluxe.
What a long title!! Title aside, Maxi 3 has been beefed up with extra horsepower, new courses, and new cars, making it truly a DX (deluxe) game. I hope that you like all the wonderful and extravagant new parts in the game. I'm currently immersed in Time Attack Mode on the new Nagoya course.
What's that you say? What's my time? Three minutes and a bit extra for complaining...That's not so bad, right? I was ahead of all the others during the test drives when we were debugging the game ? I was probably the best when we started, but...And while thinking these petty thoughts, I'll be leaving my ghost on the Nagoya course at game arcades around Japan...Heh heh heh.
Ghost Versus Battle Mode, where you can enjoy an exciting battle with someone else even when you're on your own, is of course very much still around.
And so we can play with all of you reading the Future Lab News, the ghosts of the Wangan staff are also very much still around.
And the weakest of all ghosts, the howling "Tetsuo", is very much still around.
And my "ghost of the dark side", with its revamped exterior... Is it there, in secret, or is it not?
